📖 Required for all MCO Satellite Members

Welcome to MCO Satellite

Your hub for events, resources, and community updates. Please review and follow these important guidelines to maintain a positive and professional community environment.

Community Standards:

  • Respectful Communication: Let's keep this space positive and respectful. Please avoid bullying and refrain from speaking negatively about AA, Management, or fellow FAs.
  • Content Policy: Please keep personal posts out of the feed unless they've been approved by an Admin.
  • Politics: Let's keep this space drama free - no political posts of any kind.
  • Trip Sales: No selling or "selling" of trips - this includes money, hugs, favors, or anything in between.
  • Commuting/Travel: Posts about commuting or any travel-related business aren't allowed here.

Membership & Trip Posting Requirements:

  • Geographic Eligibility: This group is for MIA-based Flight Attendants living in the Orlando area.
  • Trip Types: Only post MCO Satellite trips - Miami trips don't belong here.
  • Trip Management: Please delete your post as soon as your trip is no longer available.

📋 Important Reminder for All MCO Satellite FAs

If you need to call out sick, it is your responsibility to secure coverage for your trip.

You have two solid options:

  • 1️⃣ Drop your trip
  • 2️⃣ Trade it for a Miami trip — then call out sick

Please don't wait until the last minute to call out. Late notifications put our base at risk of having trips manned from other bases—and that's something we absolutely want to avoid.

For Planned Absences

If you know in advance that you'll be out (sick, jury duty, Personal Off, FMLA, or any other absence), please give me a heads-up as early as possible.

A quick courtesy call or text works best so I can start arranging coverage right away.

Our satellite cannot afford to have any of our trips picked up out of base. Let's work together to keep our MCO Satellite strong.

Monitoring Policy: All posts will be monitored. If outside guidelines, post will be removed and discussed individually.
